We're looking for new members

The Pedestrian Pioneer community is a group of people in Austin, Atlanta and Seattle who are advocates of the gita family of robots made by Piaggio Fast Forward.

We are looking for new members to join the community from the end of November 2021 for a six month program. All members will receive the brand new gitamini robot for FREE.

In return, members make a commitment to get out and about with their robot companion on a regular basis, post about their adventures and experiences, and participate in fun community activities and monthly research surveys. See our community FAQs below for more info.

Introducing gitamini

The gitamini is the smaller robot featured in this photo. It comes in this bright 'Spark Citron' color as well as Boardwalk Beige.  gitamini is the latest addition to the PFF gita family of robots. It follows you using computer vision and carries up to 20lbs of your stuff. Who can apply
